Johrei Centers Opened in Angola, in 2014

In 2014, all in all, 15 Johrei Centers and an Enhancement Center were opened, in Angola. Most of the ceremonies were presided by Minister Claudio Cristiano Leal Pinheiro, president of the World Messianic Church of Africa.

On March 27, the president also presided the opening of the Quimacungo Johrei Center, located in the Province of Uíge.

On June 7, the Ndalatando Johrei Center was opened in the Province of Kwanza-North. The following day, the Cafungo Johrei Center was opened in the Province of Luanda-North.

On June 9, the president dedicated the Johrei Centers of Txizainga I, Txizainga II, and Candembe, located in the Province of Lunda-South. The next day, June 10, was the opening day of the Calonda Johrei Center, located in the Province of Lunda-North.

On July 25, the Alto Dondo Johrei center was opened, the first Johrei Center in that city, in addition to the Calulo Johrei Center, also the first in that municipality. The next day, the Waku-Kungo Johrei Center was dedicated, located in the Province of Kwanza-South.

Also on July 26, the Enhancement Center of Bié was opened, in the capital of the Province of Bié.

On August 30 and 31, in a missionary journey to the Province of Benguela, the president dedicated the Johrei Centers of Angolan School, in Cabaco and Cabaia.

On November 8 and 9, two more units were opened in the Province of Cabinda, the Johrei Centers of Imanha and Povo Grande. Both ceremonies were presided by Minister Afonso Quitua Pereira, Expansion Secretary of Angola.

Overall, about 10,000 people attended the ceremonies.

The religious units are built thanks to the effort and dedication of Messianics. This same spirit and feelings are extended to the construction of the future Sacred Grounds of Africa.
