My name is Mabintu Sankoh, I am 36 years old. I am from Sierra Leone and I am a full member of the church for two months now. I came in contact with the World Messianic Church of Sierra Leone in June 2014, guided by Veronica Lengor, who is a full member of the Church.
Before I came in contact with the church, I was suffering with conflict and financial problems. Everything started when I invited my friend to stay over in my house, because she did not have her own place to live. After a while, my friend snatched my husband from me and took over my place. I decided to leave the house with my properties.
I left the house without money and no place to stay. I went to live with a friend of mine, but after a while she stopped talking to me and I did not know the reason. I was hopeless, frustrated and desperate to the point of not sleeping during the night.
It was at that stage of suffering, when I was passing by the Johrei Centre, that I was invited to enter for prayers. At the Johrei Centre, I was kindly received by the missionary, who encouraged me to follow these guidances:
- Receive 10 Johrei per day;
- Do the practice of Sonen;
- Keep the flower of light at home;
- Attend the Services;
- Read the teachings of Meishu-Sama.
After receiving the prayer, I went home, and I had a sound sleep during that night, and my worries lessened. This fact gave me strength to continue, and I tried my best to put in practice all the above guidance. I started attending the March of Johrei, guiding people to the Johrei Centre, cleaning the church every day, dedicating at the vegetable garden at the blind School, visiting hospitals and attending the cleaning campaigns.
With these dedications, I saw my problems solved completely. I am in peace with my friend and the lady who was staying with my husband decided to leave the house. My husband and I started communicating to one another, he assists me in my needs and he is finishing to build a house for me, thanks to God and the Messiah Meishu-Sama.
The testimony I would like to share with you all is about the importance of dedication, and about the blessings that took place in my life.
My first daughter, who is 14 years old, was promoted to form 3 (Grade 9) in first position in a class of 64 students. With this result, the school gave her a scholarship for four years, until she finishes school. I understood that it all happened due to the efforts I am doing to fulfill my mission in the World Messianic Church.
On September 26, my uncle, who is the Minister of Education, asked me to visit him, something he had never done before. He later told me to visit him and call him whenever I need. Moreover, my uncle promised to give a scholarship to my daughter when she reaches the college level. I was very happy to hear that, and expressed my deepest gratitude to the Supreme God and the Messiah Meishu- Sama for all the blessings.
In my return home, I received food staff and financial help. With the money, I did my donation as a means of expressing my gratitude.
In order to express my gratitude to the Supreme God and the Messiah Meishu-Sama for the blessings I had received, I did a special donation of gratitude, I am dedicating in the moon group visiting other people’s houses, I participate in the daily cleaning of the Johrei Centre and I do my daily donation and tithes. So far I have guided over 50 people and I am taking care of three houses.
Through this testimony, I have learned that Meishu-Sama is the Messiah and Saviour of Humanity, because he saved my life. I have also learned that with dedications in the World Messianic Church, we can find a solution for any kind of problem, and we can help other people who are suffering through Johrei.
My commitment is to become a useful instrument to the Supreme God and the Messiah Meishu-Sama, participating in the salvation of other people and in the construction of paradise on earth.
My deepest gratitude to the Supreme God, the Messiah Meishu-Sama and my ancestors, for all the blessings and protection, and for showing me this path of salvation.
To all the Ministers, missionaries, full members and members, my eternal gratitude for your guidance, love and care.
Thank you all.
